About National Stock Exchange
National Stock Exchange is India’s biggest stock exchange. The country’s first stock exchange to implement a computerised trading system is the NSE. The exchange began operating in the year 1994. According to the annual turnover of equities trading, the World Federation of Exchanges recognised it as the largest stock exchange. The exchange offers a fully integrated digital trading module that includes services for financial literacy, settlement and clearing, online trading, technology-focused services, and data feed products.
NSE provides a broad range of products. The NSE products can be grouped into 4 categories for ease of use. Capital markets, trackers, debt instruments, and derivatives are some of them. Stock derivatives, currency derivatives, and NSE bond futures are among the NSE’s derivative products. Stocks, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), offers for sale, and indices are among the products that can be traded on the capital market through the NSE. Corporate bonds and NSE EBP are two types of debt. Bank Nifty, India VIX, and global indexes make up the NSE’s trackers.

- Every business day at 9:08 a.m., modifications and orders can be entered.
Regular Trading Timings to Trade Equities
- On all business days, the regular market (restricted physical marketspace) opens at 9:15 a.m.
- On all business days, the regular market (restricted physical marketspace) closes at 3:30 p.m.
